Witnesses claim that Gargasoulas was shouting ‘f**k the world’ as he carried out the terrifying act.
After ploughing through the crowd, Gargasoulas drove his vehicle for a further two blocks before being apprehended.
Bystanders report hearing gunshots before seeing Gargasoulas being pulled from his vehicle and given medical treatment.
A local police commissioner confirmed that the suspect had previously come to their attention ‘on many occasions in the past’.
