Cup Lanterns:
This is a perfect DIY craft project to do with your little girl during a rainy afternoon. If your budget is tight, you can make these with plastic cups and whatever scraps of material you have around the house. Cut up old shirts, t-shirts or even old tableclothes and curtains that aren't used. If you have them or are feeling daring, you can add a strang of fairylights to the design. Don't worry if you don't have any because this sweet decoration looks pretty with or without the lights.

Table Tutu:
Decorating (or redecorating) a room doesn't always mean big expense. Sometimes a couple of simple touches can make all the difference. Spruce up the plain desk or bedside table you already have with a pretty tulle skirt. Instantly perfect for a girly-girl and it saves you buying a brand new table.

Hula Hoop Streamers:
Rather than repainting a room or adding lots of hangings to the wall, concentrate on the ceiling and make it the focal point of your little girl's bedroom. This Hula Hoop Streamer creation is a simple (and cheap) addition that will transform your daughter's space into a circus tent with minimal effort.

Pom-Poms:
You might remember being taught how to make these during arts & crafts time when you were in school. Poms-Poms are very easy to create so you can involve your daughter in the process and keep her entertained for an hour or two. Vary the sizes and colours and hang these from the ceiling of her room. You can group them over her bed to create a focal point and give her something pretty to wake up to every morning.
