Deciding to keep fit or join a gym is high on the list of most people's New Year's resolutions, so if you're still pumping iron and slogging it out on the treadmill this far into the new year, kudos to you!
While the common complaint about having to work-out generally revolves around lack of motivation, we feel there's an even bigger issue at work here.
And that issue is embarrassment.
Working out, getting fit or hitting the gym can be, at times, absolutely mortifying.
Here are just ten embarrassing things that tend to take place during a work-out.
1. Excess flatulence

2. Nonstop wedgies
If there's a crease or crevice your clothes can work themselves into, you'll be damn sure they will.
3. Profuse sweating
If you're not sweating, you're not working hard enough, but what if you're sweating so much it looks like you're going to dissolve into a pool of water in the middle of your boxercise class?
4. Steamed-up glasses
Nothing says poixdexter like having to constantly remove and de-fog your glasses while slumped over the exercise bike.
5. Lack of coordination
Your fitness instructor tells you to lunge to the left, so what do you do? Spring off to the right and trip over yourself. High-five!
6. Ensemble envy
Being caught checking out another lady's super-flattering exercise attire brings you back to the real world with a bang.
7. Frizzy hair
Looking like you've accidently got your finger caught in an electrical socket is hardly fair when all you've managed is a half-hearted job on the treadmill.
8. Forgetting your water
You've never needed water more in your life and for some reason your anguished looks at fellow gym-bunnies isn't getting you anywhere. What gives!
9. Bouncing boobs
You could be wearing a top-of-the-line sports bra and sometimes even that bad boy just doesn't cut it. Sigh.

Yes, everyone did see you try to lift that kettlebell, but don't worry, they feel your pain.
