Shortbread biscuits
These ae delicious and tasty biscuits.

120g butter, plus extra for greasing

170g plain flour

60g caster sugar

Icing sugar to garnish

Preheat your oven to 180°C/ 350°F/ gas 4. Lightly grease your baking tin with butter.

Sieve the flour and sugar into a large bowl.

Rub the butter into the mixture until it comes together in a dough. You can use your hands for this part.

Roll until it is about an inch thick. Use your cookie cutter to cut out about 15/ 20 biscuits.

Line them on the baking tray and pess the top slightly with a fork.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden.

When ready, sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
