Steven Spielberg, Simon Cowell, Graham Norton, Helen Mirren, Niall Horan, Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams and of course Roald Dahl’s model granddaughter Sophie Dahl are amongst the famous faces taking part in The BFG Dream Jar Trail this summer.

Taking place form July 9th to August 31st, the event will see London transformed by magical giant (6ft!) dream jars to celebrate Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday and the release of The BFG Movie.

The hotly-anticipated public art trail will see celebrities’ childhood dreams bottled and displayed on the streets for all to see, and it’s all for a great cause.

The trail is raising money for Save the Children to support their vital work across the world so that every child has the best chance possible to make their dreams come true. It will also benefit a specialist nursing programme supported by Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.

Once the event is over, the jars will be auctioned off to raise money for both causes.

Other stars bottling their dreams for the event include Professor Stephen Hawking, Sir Richard Branson, Naomi Campbell and the Delevingne sisters.

“All kids deserve to have the chance to dream big so I’m delighted to be a part of The BFG Dream Jar Trail so that we can share our dreams together and support the work of Save the Children across the world,” Steven Spielberg said.

Spielberg’s jar features mini sculptures of sweets, cakes and other treats, reflecting his childhood dream to have “all of the sweets in the whole world.”

Cara, Poppy and Chloe Delevingne chose sisterhood as the theme for their jar, professing that their dream as kids was to always be close to each other. “As sisters, we’re strongest and safest when we’re all together," Cara said.

Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams’ dream was a little quirkier. “My dream is to be in my swimming costume underwater, when suddenly out of the blue comes a GIGANTIC sperm whale,” she says. “He swims right up to me and we are nose to nose.”

Meanwhile, Niall Horan’s dream shows he’s a born romantic. His jar features him on a date with the girl of his dreams up in a hot air balloon. “As a little boy, I liked the idea of floating above the trees and looking down on the world from above,” he says. “Now I like the idea of having someone with me for the ride.”

The jars will also be on display in select cities across the UK, including Glasgow, Manchester and Cardiff. For more info, click here.

The BFG Movie hits cinemas on July 22nd.
