The Hart of Dixie and former The O.C. star joined the popular photo-blogging site this week, and the new mum marked her arrival by paying a sweet tribute to her daughter, Briar Rose.
The star, who welcomed Briar Rose last October with long-term partner Hayden Christensen, posted an adorable mother-daughter shot of her Star Wars-inspired Vans – a pair for mum, and a tiny little pair for Baby!
As sweet as the picture is on sight, the significance behind the Star Wars reference makes it all the more special. It seems that proud mum Rachel was giving a nod to boyfriend Hayden, who starred as Anakin Skywalker in three of the popular series’ films.
Rachel and Hayden first met on the set of their 2008 movie Jumper, where they played love interests, and they have been together on-and-off ever since. Little Briar Rose – their first child together – was born on October 29 last year.
While we have yet to get a look at the stars’ little one, we have a feeling that she might make her Instagram debut very soon.
