Kent Police have launched a major investigation after two young children were taken from their home in the early hours of the morning.

 

It is understood that the two children were ‘snatched’ from their home in the Liberty Park housing estate.

 

It is believed that the children were taken by a family member.

 

Kent Police have stated that there is no threat to other children. They are treating this case as a domestic incident.

 

 

 The National Air Service have joined the investigation. Numerous members of the police force are also searching on the ground for the two children.

 

The children’s gender and age have not yet been revealed.

 

Kent Police, who were called to the scene this morning, stated: “Kent Police received a report that two children were missing from the Wainscott area at 8:07 am. Enquiries to locate them are ongoing and the National Police Air Service is providing assistance.”

 

He continued, “Enquiries to locate them are ongoing.”

 

Officers have carried out searches in the Gravesend and Medway areas.
