Whovians unite! David Tennant helped a pair of expecting parents with their Doctor Who-themed gender reveal at the Wizard World Comic Con in New Orleans, and we could not be more jealous.

The mum-to-be, known as foxy_lady_brown on Instagram, handed the Tenth Doctor an envelope containing their baby's gender.

The Doctor Who superfans instructed him to say 'allons-y' if the baby is a boy, or 'bad wolf' if it's a girl, referencing key phrases from David's time on the show.

Allons-y was one of the Tenth Doctor's catchphrases, and 'Bad Wolf' was (SPOILER ALERT!) an entity that the Doctor's companion Rose became.

And which did he say? All is revealed in the video!

Allons-y! It's a boy!

We don't want to give away the trophy too soon, but this definitely ranks up there for best gender reveal of 2018.

What a special way to find out! And to be honest, we are still fan-girling over David Tennant. He was just so excited for them!

David himself has two 'allons-y's and two 'bad wolves'. He and his wife Georgia Moffett, actress and daughter of the Fifth Doctor, are parents to Doris, Olive, Wilfred, and Ty.

We wish all the best to those expecting Whovians! We're sure their little boy will become a Doctor Who fan, too.
