This well-known dad-of-two has been left incensed after the creation of a social media page which purports to be him and seeks personal advice as well as referencing private family events.

Boyzone star, Keith Duffy, is outraged by the Facebook user who claims to be the former Coronation Street star and makes constant references to Keith's teenage daughter, Mia, who lives with autism.

Taking to his Twitter account to make his feelings clear, the 40-year-old star posted a message aimed at his impersonator, saying: "Whoever is pretending to be me, hope I don't find out who you are."

In an effort to fool the public into thinking Keith is the person behind the page, the individual behind the pretence references personal events in the life of the Duffy family, saying: "Just want to say happy birthday to my little princess Mia. Happy Birthday. I'm so proud of you. Lots of love from all your family."

Urging fans and followers to block the page, Keith, who recently stepped down as patron for Irish Autism Action, wrote: "This is not me, it's some weirdo. Please report- block page."

In addition to his teenage daughter, Keith is also the proud father of an 18-year-old son he shares with wife, Lisa.
