From cryptic tweets which cast aspersions on the nuptials of fellow celebrities to Instagram posts which mislead fans, it's fair to say Katie Price is adept at rubbing the public up the wrong way.

Having recently made waves after admitting her true feelings for former best friend, Jane Pountney, mum-of-five, Katie, has shown her softer side as she opened up about her failed marriage to ex-husband Peter Andre.

Using her new television show Katie Price: In Therapy as a platform to discuss the life she once shared with her fellow I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here contestant, Katie has left the public in little doubt about the love she had for the father of two of her children.

Chatting openly about their relationship, the 37-year-old star told Dr. Claudia Bernat: "I thought that we could have been together for ever. ‘I idolised him and he did me, definitely."

Unusually discrete when discussing the marriage, Katie refused to reveal the reason behind the divorce, but implies issues of trust played a big factor in the marriage's dissolution.

Offering viewers a brief explanation, the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant said: "Something big happened, which I won’t reveal. He thought that something was going on with me and my horse trainer, Andrew Gould, and I always said nothing was going on with my horse trainer."

While currently in a relationship with Kieran Haylor, Katie appears to bear no ill towards the Australian singer saying: ‘I loved Pete. I’d have never have done anything behind his back or anything like that."

Peter recently tied the knot with fiancé Emily MacDonagh.
