Louise Redknapp appeared to be in good form despite rumours that her marriage had ended, as she celebrated her son Charles’ 13th birthday this week.

“Happy birthday to my big boy who gets totally embarrassed about having his pic done with his mum in front of his mates,” Louise wrote on Instagram, alongside a snap of herself and Charles.

Louise attempted to make Charles smile in the photo, while dad Jamie was nowhere to be seen.

It’s believed Louise has moved out of the family home in Oxshott, Surrey; however, she was around to mark the couple’s eldest son’s big birthday.

Recently, The Sun reported that Jamie and Louise had called it a day on their 19-year marriage; however, there has been no official statement from the couple yet.

A source said: “Louise told one of her closest friends she and Jamie had split. Louise was quite open about the fact the relationship was over.

“She mentioned how much time they had spent apart and that, when she and Jamie had tried to spend time together, it hadn’t been good.

“It’s a very difficult situation because of their two children, who they are both determined to protect. That’s why they’re not prepared to officially end the marriage or comment publicly.

“They hope time apart might fix things, even though that doesn’t look likely.”

The former Eternal singer has two children with the retired footballer; Charles, 13, and Beau, eight.

Shortly after the rumours emerged, Louise was seen partying with her close pal, model Daisy Lowe, whom she met when they both competed on Strictly Come Dancing.

Louise’s Strictly Come Dancing pal Karen Clifton appeared to confirm the split when she told The Sun that the mum-of-two was “reinventing” herself.

She said: "On the show, Louise grew in confidence and you could see her wings expanding. It's been great because she's been a stay-at-home mum and sometimes you can forget about yourself.

"Now, she's giving herself a little bit more attention and she's taking care of herself, which is lovely. She's reinventing herself."

She added: "She's a gorgeous woman and he's a lovely man, and I just feel really bad that they've separated."

In the past, Louise said she felt “left-out” after becoming a stay-at-home mum, and that Strictly gave her a chance to do something new.

We hope the couple can stay friends for the sake of their family.
