Im a Celeb: Anne Hegarty was allowed a break from camp every day

It might be done and dusted for another year, but we're still loving every titbit of information that comes out of the I'm a Celeb camp.

The Chase star Anne Hegarty was a fan favourite, opening up about her autism diagnosis and beating obstacles during her time in the jungle.

And it has now come out that she was allowed have a half hour out of the camp every day when she was in there - to learn her lines.

Anne is set to take to the stage in the Dick Whittington panto in Windsor, and she obviously had to brush up on the script.

She said, ''I open next Tuesday, at the moment Anita Harris is playing me at the Theatre Royal in Windsor.''

The 60-year-old, who plays the  Queen Rat, said on This Morning that, ''I've seen the script, I was allowed half an hour with it a day in the jungle. I've got my lines down, apart from they've now rewritten most of them so I need to learn them."

When it came to I'm a Celeb, she did say that a lunch with the show's bosses persuaded her to go in.

She said that her camp mates kept her going in the jungle when she was feeling low.

She revealed, ''The people were by far the best thing…so protective and reassuring. I do not expect to make friends that quickly, but fantastic people. Rita [Simons] is young enough to be my daughter and she's more like my mum! And I adore Nick [Knowles]. I will not hear a word against Nick. He could see I was struggling and was immediately supportive.''

She has a soft spot for him, saying, ''I'd say I'm very fond of all of them, but I guess it's no secret that my favourite is Nick."

We loved her on the show - is it time for another series yet?
