Jessica, who welcomed baby Silas with husband Justin Timberlake in April, opened up in an interview on The Today Show this week.
“He’s wonderful. He’s just a joy. It’s an amazing, amazing experience,” said the 33-year-old of her five-month-old son.
Like Eva Mendes and many others before her however, Jessica admitted that her new role has given her a renewed level of respect for her own mother.
“It’s incredibly hard, the hardest job in the world and I’ve never been more thankful and grateful to my own mother. Oh my gosh, I’m going to call her right after this actually, and just thank her. What you have to do for your kid – it’s an amazing responsibility and the biggest joy ever,” she added.
All of us mums can relate to what Jessica is saying here, so we’re glad to hear that the star’s singer husband is embracing fatherhood. “He is doing it all. He is in there, deep,” said Jessica.
The couple, who wed in 2012, recently shared sweet insights into their family life with some adorable photos.
