Kate opens up about Princess Charlotte starting primary school

It was recently revealed that Princess Charlotte will start primary school in September. The middle Cambridge child is set to attend the same school as her big brother George.

Having recently celebrated her fourth birthday, the young royal will attend Thomas’s Battersea in London this September.

Starting primary school can be quite a daunting and overwhelming time for your child, but we’re sure Charlotte will feel reassured to know her brother George will be there to keep an eye out for his little sister.

The nerves certainly haven’t hit Charlotte just yet, especially from what her mum told the public at a recent royal engagement.

Kate and Prince William were visiting Cumbria when the mum opened up about her little girl starting school. She couldn’t help but gush about the exciting moment in her daughter’s life during a walkabout.

According to People, the mum spoke to Helen Jones and her four-year-old daughter Eva.

Kate told the fellow mum, "Charlotte was looking forward to school," and she was also "very friendly."

Charlotte will fit right in at her new school in September especially as Thomas’s Battersea main school rule is to simply ‘be kind’.

The school's website says its curriculum includes art, ballet, drama, ICT, French, music and PE taught by specialist teachers.

Prince William previously revealed that Charlotte is extremely passionate about dance so she will be thrilled to hear about all of the ballet lessons ahead of her at Thomas’s Battersea.

September will be quite the exciting time for the little princess.
