As a mum-of-five there is no denying that Katie Price is a great mum, especially to her eldest son Harvey.

The 13-year-old, whose dad is Dwight Yorke, suffers from septo-optic dysplasia and Prader-Willi Syndrome and requires around the clock care, and Katie admits times can be difficult.

Speaking on This Morning, the former glamour model revealed that she has learned a lot over the last 13 years, going on to reveal that she has to keep an eye on Harvey when he is around his younger siblings, particularly if he is in a bad mood.

“Sometimes he might pick Bunny up and wants to kiss her, and I go ‘Ah, that’s so sweet’, but really I’m thinking ‘Oh my God, is he going to launch her?’ because you don’t know what he’s going to do.”

Explaining that he suffers from erratic behaviour, the 37-year-old, who is married to Kieran Hayer, also revealed that his younger brothers and sisters know to keep away from him when he is angry.

Despite admitting that caring for him is “challenging and “hard work”, the author went on to say that she wouldn’t change him for anything.”

“Yes, he is challenging and hard work, he wets his bed … he doesn’t know how to aim on the toilet, so we’re constantly cleaning the toilet, but you know, that’s part and parcel of having Harvey.”

“Material things don’t become important because life is life… Harvey will have no idea what it would be like to pay bills, he lives like the king - he is the king of the house - and we wouldn’t have it any other way,” she said.
