Normally on the receiving end of criticism when it comes to her parenting choices, mum-of-five Katie Price decided to dish out her own criticism last night in a move which divided the opinions of thousands of Instagram users

Uploading a shot of a baby girl sporting a pair of heeled leopard-print shoes, the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant wasted no time voicing her disdain for the emerging style trend.

Katie, who has been slammed for allowing her daughter Princess to experiment with make-up, is clearly unimpressed with the image, writing: "Got shown these .... REALLY ... I've never seen anything so vile to put on your baby."

The 37-year-old I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here star acknowledged that while the style may have supporters in some circles, she admitted she wasn't a fan, continuing: "No offence to people wanting to start a business but this is too far in my opinion."

Katie, who is no stranger to controversy, divided opinion among her Instagram followers, with some quick to agree with the former glamour model and others more than willing to draw attention to Katie's own parenting choices.

Making reference to Katie's approach to her daughter's appearance, one Instagram user wrote:" Some consider plastering children in makeup vile or piercing babies ears vile!!!! However I say each to their own."

In contrast, numerous other social media users supported the star's stance, with one writing: "I think they are vile anyway. People with girls should keep them as little girls for as long as they can not turn them into women so young. I mean ,babes in prams with heels - wrong on many levels."

The post has clocked up more than 5,000 likes since its upload last night and it certainly looks like Katie knows how to ignite a fiery debate!
