After returning home from the Hunger Games premiere, Katie Price uploaded a seemingly innocent picture of her seven-year-old daughter, Princess, hugging her baby sister, Bunny.
But fans were quick to notice something and soon she was inundated with angry comments by people disgusted to see she apparently dresses her kids in real fur.
Sharing the post of the two girls wearing woolly hats with fur bobbles, the 37-year-old captioned it: “My gorgeous girls in their @bklynconcepts hats” – tagging a company who makes luxury Merino wool hats from raccoon and fox fur.
Many wrote that it was wrong to be dressing the girls in real fur while another asked her to consider using faux fur. Some were also quick to point out that the businesswoman claims to be an animal lover yet “sticks her kids in hats made from real animal fur”.
However, not everyone was quick to judge, with one writing: "Just because she dressed her kids in real fur doesn't mean she isn't a good parent. I've watched Katie since I was a child myself and she is a brilliant parent, stop judging her and get over yourselves."
The star has yet to comment on the backlash, but has since uploaded a picture of her and her husband, Kieron, so we're sure she's aware of the reaction.
