Katie Price confirmed rumours that Princess and Junior Andre, whom she shares with ex husband Peter Andre, are currently living with their father.
Many have speculated as to why this choice was made, but the model recently issued a statement to cut through the rumour mill.
Her rep told the Mirror Online that 13-year-old Junior and 10-year-old Princess are living with Peter while Katie navigates her split from estranged husband Kieran Hayler.
The rep said it was a joint decision and the parents 'agreed it was best' for their son and daughter to stay with the 45-year-old singer.
"What is important [is] that the focus is on what is best for the children during tough times as Peter has acknowledged," the spokesperson explained.
"Katie is a remarkable mother, Peter is a wonderful father, together they are doing what is best for their children."
The rep also said that both children are looking forward to being back with their mum again.
Peter himself has spoken out on the matter, writing in his New magazine column, "J and P have gone, and will go, through tough times in their lives.
“But no matter what, Emily and I will always provide a stable home for them. People can read in to that how they like. We have a lot of routines and I’m really strict on school nights."
