When it comes to things like Santa, the Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny, it's up to parents how they want to handle it.
Some let their kids ask them themselves in their time while others sit them down at a set age and reveal the truth.
And others, like Kelly Clarkson, don't even indulge in it to begin with.

The 36-year-old got real when it came to how she does Easter with her brood - and there's no mention of the Easter Bunny.
The singer is mum to four-year-old Rain and three-year-old Remington with her husband Brandon Blackstock.
She said, ''Even my nanny came in this morning and was like, ‘What did the Easter Bunny bring?’ And I was like, ‘Wait what?'”
She continued, ''I kind of just was like, ‘Mommy and daddy did these for you.’ I knew my mom always did it - maybe don’t show this to children. I thought Easter was for us.''
She added, ''Sometimes I’m tired of giving credit to non-existent things. Like I’m very busy, and I took the time to shop at Target and put this all together. I did this - no bunny! They got chocolate, so they’re fine.”
Her fans were divided on this matter.
One said, ''My kids thought the Easter Bunny brought their baskets only for a very short period of time. Even when they still knew Santa was bringing their gifts, they realised the bunny had been replaced by mom.''
While another wrote, ''Is this a thing? My mother also never told me it was the Easter Bunny.''
