Sweet relief: Natasha Bedingfield shares special update after sons brain surgery

Natasha Bedingfield has given a wonderful update after her son Solomon had brain surgery earlier in the month.

The Unwritten singer has been living every parent’s worst nightmare over the past few weeks, but her son’s doctor said he is getting better, so much so that they have let Solomon go home for the holidays.

Natasha posted a photo of her son and his doctor on Instagram and gushed about how well her son is doing.

“Sweet relief! The feeling when someone literally saves your life ! This is our incredible surgeon Dr Chu with Solo after great news- Solos’s latest scan showed that he is getting better for sure!”

“So much so that they sent us home ! Thank you for the prayers . Thank you,” she added.

Solomon was admitted to hospital where doctors discovered he had an infection in his head, however, the infection then spread to his brain, giving doctors no choice but to operate.

Natasha previously wrote about the illness in an honest Instagram post, “He has an area of infection that somehow found its way into the brain. We are so grateful though that there is treatment for what Solo is experiencing and it is straightforward and has worked many times.”

Spending Christmas in hospital is beyond harrowing, for both the child and parent, so we couldn’t be happier to hear little Solomon is finally on the mend.

There’s no doubt the These Words singer was overjoyed when the doctors told her he was well enough to spend Christmas at home.
