Easter baked French toasts

A tasty breakfast to feed a crowd!

8 hot cross buns

6 eggs

700ml whole milk

70g sugar

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp cinnamon

150g Easter egg chocolate

Generously butter a baking tray. Cut hot cross buns into dices and spread on the baking tray. 
In a large bowl, beat eggs, then add milk, sugar and spices and mix. Pour over the hot cross buns and let it soak for about 20 minutes. 
Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas 4. Scatter soaked buns with Easter eggs chocolate and bake for 40 minutes.
