With A-level results coming out this week, it was a stressful and emotional few days for families everywhere.

The eldest of the Beckham brood, Brooklyn, appears to have done himself and his parents proud, judging by an emotional Instagram post that Victoria shared.

The proud mum shared a photo of herself curled up on an armchair with her eldest, writing underneath: “We are all so proud of you Brooklyn. Amazing A level results and off to college. We love you so much and will miss you. #yesiamcrying #emotional”.

Brooklyn is headed off to study photography at Parsons Private Art and Design School in New York. Earlier today he was spotted jetting into JFK along with dad David.

Located in the trendy Greenwich Village neighbourhood, Brooklyn’s college is one of the most esteemed art schools in the world.

The talented 18-year-old is already making waves in the photography world. He has an impressive photography portfolio that includes a Burberry fashion campaign and recently held his very first photography exhibition.

The ‘What I See’ exhibition was unveiled at Christie’s gallery in London and coincides with the release of his first photography book of the same title, which offers an insight into his family life.

The book, which features sweet family moments between his parents and siblings, is described as “a series of snapshots of his life”.

The synopsis reads: “Each chapter tells a different story through pictures by and of Brooklyn, accompanied by captions and passages of text in his own words. Unique, authentic and stylish, What I See is a glimpse behind the lens”.

Brooklyn told The Telegraph that he had a hard time convincing his parents to let him take candid shots of them.

“Most times, I’m secretive about taking them. If my mum sees me taking a picture, she kind of poses and stuff, and I don’t really like that. None of my photos are set; I like using natural light,” he revealed.

Best of luck to Brooklyn – we’re sure he will do great!
