A dad has employed a simple yet genius idea to stop the squabbles and ‘snack stealing’ that was going on between his toddler triplets.

He has separated them! Well, kinda.

Dad Jake White is navigating parenting multiples impressively. When his gorgeous little tots – Jude, Stella and Xavier – wouldn’t stop fighting in the back of the car, he decided that desperate measures were called for to “keep the peace”.

Using foam dividers, he placed a barrier between them. And presto, no more fights – well, at at least for now.

“I did it because there was snack-stealing going on and to a 2-year-old, that's the end of the world,” he told TODAY Parents. “The dividers are foam core, just strong enough to keep the kids separated. The kids aren't strong enough to break it from a seated position yet.”

We love this. Basically 90% of a parent’s job is to referee between squabbling kids, so this really appeals to our funny bones.

Now, next tutorial Jake, how do we stop scraps between our teens?
