There is no doubt that courageous mum-of-two Michelle Heaton has gone through a very difficult time in recent years. The former Liberty X star underwent a double mastectomy and breast reconstructive surgery in November 2012, was dealt the devastating news that her infant son had been diagnosed with viral meningitis in April and recently recovered from a hysterectomy in early October.
The thirty-five-year old star discovered she carried the BRCA2 gene which increases a woman’s chance of developing breast and ovarian cancer so Michelle took the decision to undergo major surgery, but that hasn’t stopped the upbeat young singer from enjoying a day out with husband Hugh and kids Faith and, happily recovered, AJ.
The family hit the red carpet at the weekend for the premiere of TV show Dora and Friends: Into the City. Looking every inch the happy healthy young family, Michelle and Hugh carried two-year-old Faith and 8-month-old AJ on their hips and beamed for cameras.
Michelle tweeted her excitement about the event before she hit the red carpet in a gorgeous red dress and black tights combo. We hope this is the start of a very healthy and happy time for the entire Heaton/ Hanley clan.
