To help raise much-needed funds for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, QHotels has launched a three-year national partnership to raise £300,000 for the charity.
Over the next three years, each of its 26 hotels across the UK will be hosting a number of fun and creative fundraising events, offering up different ways to get involved – from family activities to sporting challenges.
The first of these will be NSPCC’s Big Board Game Day, which will feature at QHotels this summer, with board game events in hotel gardens and games rooms for guests to take part in.
“The work that the NSPCC does is so incredibly important and to be able to give our guests and employees the opportunity to be part of such a significant cause is wonderful," Michael Purtill, Managing Director at QHotels, said of the launch.
QHotels is also giving customers the chance to support the campaign, with the option to make a donation to the NSPCC with every online booking.
Nigel Spencer, Acting Director of Fundraising at NSPCC, said: “I am delighted that QHotels has joined our fight for every childhood. This partnership will play a key role in keeping children safe and we are very excited to start working with QHotels’ employees and guests.”
As well as fundraising, QHotels is also saying a thank you to staff and volunteers of the charity, with free membership to its Breakaway Club, which offers benefits including short-break vouchers, special experiences such as complimentary afternoon tea, a bottle of wine, a late check-out or a discounted break.
Michael Purtill continued: “With lots of parents working at QHotels and welcoming so many families to our family-friendly hotels across the UK, supporting the NSPCC was clearly a natural fit for the group. There will be lots of exciting activities going on at our hotels for families to get involved in and we can’t wait to get started.”
