The book was first announced last year by author Jade Beall and it is now set for release next month.
The project showcases a collection of photos that celebrate the female body at all stages of motherhood.
The photographer, Jade Beall, who is from Arizona, said that she got the idea for the project after she took a semi-nude photo of herself and put it on Facebook where it got great reception from other mums.
At the time, Beall says she had gained 50 pounds following her pregnancy and was suffering from postpartum depression. Taking this picture helped her and she was inspired to help other women in a similar way.
Beall says that it is real images, like hers, that will help mums to have a healthy image of themselves, rather than what is presented by the media: "It's about changing how we think about our bodies and how we think about other women. We've been fed this really destructive lie that if we don't bounce back after birth, that we're failures and we're no good. That needs to change because being a mother is absolutely hard enough."
Beall's book is set for release on May 11th.
