We've all been there!
As mums, it is imperative we get used to the idea of someone crawling into our bed in the middle of the night.
Two', three', four o'clock - kids don't keep the time, particularly in the dead of night when they are half asleep.
Sometimes they'll jump into your bed and snuggle in... other times they'll just stand there and wait for you to wake up. Silent. Not saying word.
And that is exactly what happened to this couple who got the biggest shock when they woke up and found their little one just standing in the doorway.
But they weren't just standing there.
Nope.
The child was playing a "woodwind instrument".
And as you can see in the picture which was uploaded to imgur by user yourdaughterkickedmydog, it was a pretty terrifying thing to see.

The dim light, the long nightdress - yup, you'd be forgiven for thinking their was a ghost just hanging around your house.
And reading through the comments it is clear that they are not the first parents to be scared like this.
"My two-year-old son woke me up by whispering two inches from my face. When he says 'Dad', it sounds like 'die'..." wrote one.
Another said: "Yup, I taught mine to play hide and seek. He rocks up to my bed at 2am and whispers: "found you, Daddy. NO MORE HIDING FOR YOU".
Yup, kids are TERRIFYING.
