Attention budding artists!
Road safety information source THINK! and motoring service authority RAC have teamed up with the creators of beloved cartoon characters Wallace and Gromit, Aardman, on a road safety-themed art competition.
Aimed at four to 16-year-olds, the campaign is calling on budding artists to get their creative juices flowing by making and developing either an animated road safety video or talking poster (a drawing accompanied by a recorded message).
If the project itself sounds exciting, just wait until you hear what the prizes are!
To begin with, the first 10,000 entries will receive a free road safety pack worth £15, while the overall competition winners will receive a whopping £1,000 for their school.
Runners-up, meanwhile, will be treated to a visit to the Aardman workshop, where they will get to watch a top model-maker in action.
For those who are looking for a bit of inspiration for their entry, THINK! has compiled a list of suitable topics for the various age groups, which are laid out in a helpful set of guidelines on their website.
