Meghan Markle and Prince Harry confirmed that they are expecting their first child together this morning and we are thrilled for the pair.

The lovebirds told the royal family their huge news at Princess Eugenie’s wedding on Friday, October 12. However, one family member was absent from the celebration, Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland.

The doting mum issued the sweetest statement through Kensington Palace following the couple’s pregnancy announcement.

She said she was “very happy at this lovely news and is looking forward to welcoming her first grandchild.”

Meghan has had her twelve-week scan and is said to be in good health. The Duchess has just touched down in Australia for her second international tour with husband Prince Harry.

The parents-to-be are over the moon about Meghan’s pregnancy.

Kensington Palace confirmed they will welcome their tiny tot in the Spring of 2019.

“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public,” they shared.

Queen Elizabeth, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall and Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to be “delighted for the couple”.

We couldn’t be happier for Meghan and Harry.
