The actress, who plays Fiz Stape on the soap, was joined by her partner, Chris Farr, and a host of famous friends as they marked the special occasion in Annie’s restaurant in Manchester.
Jennie, who announced her wonderful news back in May, looked positively glowing as she shared a snap with her social media followers.
Posting a picture of herself and Chris holding a baby balloon, the 30-year-old wrote: “Beautiful day with family and friends. Feeling spoilt!”
And Jennie wasn’t the only one proudly showing off her bump, with former co-star and mum-to-be Catherine Tyldesley joining in on the celebrations with her old cast mates.
The actress tweeted Jennie ahead of the shower, writing: “Me and bump looking forward to seeing thee and bump @jenniemcalpine xxx”.
Other Corrie stars who were on-hand for the festivities were Sally Lindsay, Lucy-Jo Hudson, Shobna Gulati and Antony Cotton.
It looks like a wonderful day was had by all.
