The Duke and Duchess of Sussex open up about being new parents

Adapting to life with a newborn is not easy, even when you’re a member of the royal family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex may have heaps of help and the support of a nanny, but they’re going through struggles that every new parent faces.

At a recent royal engagement, Harry and Meghan met the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox ahead of their game at an MLB game in London.

The new parents couldn’t help but gush about their baby boy Archie during their visit.

The Duke and Duchess did admit that they were struggling with one aspect of parenthood, and it’s something they’re going to have to get used to.

The sleepless nights.

The new dad told Bianca Rainbow-Jones and her husband Nathan Jones that they’ve had barely any sleep lately.

"We talked babies! They said, 'We've just left [the screaming] -- we had that about an hour before we came here!' Harry said they had a sleepless night,” Bianca revealed.

Harry and Meghan are determined to be hands-on parents so there’s no doubt they were both up all night with little Archie.

We’re hoping the parents can get some shut eye before the weekend because they’ve got quite the momentous occasion coming up. Archie is set to be baptised at the Queen’s private chapel on Saturday, July 6. There will only be 25 guests attending the private ceremony, including Meghan’s mum Doria, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Charles.

There’s no doubt Meghan and Harry will have the most wonderful day with their baby boy even if they are sleep deprived. It’s something us parents simply get used to.
