The annual BabyBoo Christmas bandana bib collection has launched online to the delight of fans of the organic cotton baby and children's clothing range. Following a survey of their followers in the UK, the baby brand with a sustainable focus launched their Christmas collection weeks before Halloween for the first time in the company's six years in business.
With strong values around sustainability, ethical manufacturing and quality products that will last the test of time, BabyBoo also like to give back with a charity initiative every year. This year the challenges of the world pandemic prompted the two mum co-founders to get some extra special help to launch both a local and developing world charity bib as part of their Christmas collection.
Celebrity mum and fan of the BabyBoo brand, Vogue Williams put her stamp on a reindeer themed set of bandana bibs with all profits from the sale going to support a charity working to improve the lives of girls within communities in Africa through education.
The festive charity bib for The Michael Mathews Foundation was designed by favourite celebrity mum, Vogue Williams! She chose a reindeer print with bright pink and green colour accents for the boys and girls getting ready for Christmas. If anyone would like to support these two fantastic charities, the bibs are now available online at www.BabyBoo.ie, priced at €5 with all profits from the sale going to their named charity.
Speaking about the BabyBoo charity bib design, Vogue said: "It was a lovely opportunity to collaborate with an Irish brand that I genuinely use every day. I’m a big fan of Christmas especially since the children came along. My Christmas bib designs will benefit The Michael Matthews Foundation, a charity very close to our heart as a family. Michael was Spencer’s brother who sadly passed away and the charity was set up in his name."
Commenting on the reaction to the unprecedented early launch of their Christmas collection, BabyBoo co-founder Vicki O'Callaghan said: "We have been overwhelmed with the support for this year's festive bibs and matching sibling pyjama sets. Within the first hour of the range going live online, we sold out of our '2020 My First Christmas' red bandana bib. While Vogue's 'Rudy & Rosie' reindeer bibs are proving so popular that we will have to order in more stock. While our personalised bibs are very popular as gifts. We are really happy, it's been a brilliant launch and our biggest yet with over a 1,000 orders on the first day alone. We were so nervous launching Christmas before Halloween but the support from our customers has been phenomenal and as a small Irish business, we are so grateful."
