It looks like this newlywed may be getting just a little bit broody if her recent comments are anything to go by!

Michelle Keegan, who recently exchanged vows with former TOWIE star, Mark Wright, has sent the rumour mill into overdrive after admitting she once expected to be either pregnant or a mum at this point in her life.

The stunning Coronation Street star spent much of the last year planning her dream wedding to Mark, but it looks like the actress is now turning her attention to all things baby-related.

Speaking to Star magazine, the 28-year-old actress, who recently celebrated one month of wedded bliss with the reality TV star, opened up about her best laid plans and acknowledged that things don't always go the way you might expect.

Accepting her baby plans haven't yet materialised, Michelle revealed her old thought process, saying: "I always thought I was going to be a really young mum."

Having carved out an incredibly successful television career for herself, it looks like the actress has had to reassess her initial plans, joking: "I always had in my head that I was going to have a baby at 22 or 23! Obviously that didn't happen!"

However, the actress is more than happy to accept her current circumstances and enjoy the honeymoon period before she hears the pitter-patter of tiny feet, saying: "I want to enjoy being married first and having that life with Mark."

The star does insist, however, that children will always be part of the plan, revealing "Obviously I'd love to have kids some day. I've always wanted to be a mum."
