Kimberley Crew, who recently wed footballer Joe Hart, had a cloud cast over her nuptials when glamour model, Katie Price, posted a cryptic tweet suggesting Joe had had a relationship with the mum-of-five.
The tweet, which was uploaded by the former I'm a Celebrity...Get Me out of Here contestant the day after Joe and Kimberley's wedding ceremony in Italy, read: "All Harts go out to the married couple. Is he going to tell her the truth about us? xx."
Perhaps rethinking her decision, the tweet was soon deleted but not before news of it reached the happy newlyweds and sent the twitosphere into a meltdown.
Maintaining a dignified silence, Kimberley, who gave birth to a baby son ten months ago, refused to feed into the media frenzy, but according to a source close to the couple, the stunning newlywed has little time for Katie Price.
Revealing Kimberley's reaction to the ill-advised and mean-spirited tweet, an insider said: "Kim couldn’t care less. She thinks Katie’s a clueless bimbo."
Confident in her relationship, Joe's new wife refuses to dwell on the social media storm, with the source continuing: "She has no concerns about Joe, and told friends ‘In her dreams!' She probably wishes she could get her hands on him but she can’t."
