The rumour mill went into overdrive recently when his girlfriend stepped out with what many believed to be a baby bump, and finally the good news has been confirmed.

Congratulations are in order this morning for Hollywood star Hugh Grant, who is set to become a father for the fourth time.

A representative for the actor confirmed that he and Swedish television producer Anna Eberstein are expecting their second child together. The couple are already parents to three-year-old son John Mungo.

The Notting Hill star is also father to four-year-old Tabitha Jing Xi, and two-and-a-half-year-old Felix; his children with Tinglan Hong.

Grant previously spoke out about adjusting to fatherhood with eldest child Tabitha, admitting that he was pleasantly surprised by how well he took to his new role.

“Lots of people warned me…that the baby period is not that exciting. But I am excited, actually. I thought, well, I’ll bluff through – but very little bluffing has been required,” he told The Guardian, at the time.

Insisting that he was ‘absolutely thrilled’ to be a dad, the star added: “I feel a better person.”

Congratulations to Hugh, Anna and their families on their wonderful news.
