If you have an enthusiastic bookworm on your hands, then make sure they take part in this incredible event in June!
To honour the much-loved Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak, A Big Wild Rumpus will take place in cities and towns across the UK on Saturday June 13th.
Beginning at 11am, the nationwide reading of this wonderful children's book will culminate in much roaring and gnashing of teeth, guaranteed to be heard throughout the land!
Organised by Random House publishers, this nationwide campaign will hold three flagship events in major UK cities; The Unicorn Theatre in London, the Midlands Art Centre in Birmingham and the Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester, but towns and villages around the country are encouraged to host their own events in honour of this classic child's story!
