According to reports, the Piano Man singer and his girlfriend Alexis Roderick are expecting their first child together.
A source told a number of online websites that 65-year-old Billy and Alexis, 33, are due to welcome a baby this summer, with early reports claiming that it’s going to be a girl.
“Billy Joel and his girlfriend, Alexis Roderick, are expecting their first child this summer. The couple, together since 2009, opted to keep any further details of her pregnancy under wraps until their new addition makes an official debut,” a representative for the singer said in a statement this evening.
While this will be the first baby for the couple, Billy is already dad to his 29-year-old songwriter daughter Alexa Ray, from his previous marriage to Christie Brinkley.
