Much-loved star gives hilarious insight into breakfast time at his house

Giving an insight into family life and revealing that they too need an extra shot of caffeine most mornings is popular actor, Neil Patrick Harris, and his husband David Burtka.

The 42-year-old How I Met Your Mother star, who wed David in September 2014, took to Facebook last week and give fans and followers a sneak peek at life in the Harris/ Burtka homestead.

Determined to be given their fair share of the limelight, the couple's adorable children, Gideon and Harper, proved that their parents aren't the only entertainers in the family!
 

Clearly enraptured by his childrens' joie de vivre, Neil attempted to keep a straight face as his little ones performed for the camera, but clearly couldn't conceal his delight.

Showcasing their skills, the adorable duo delighted their father's legions of fans, with one member of the public writing: "Its not often, that you can watch a vid and feel generally happy, but this made me smile and it's been a rough week haha so thanks!"
