Dry skin can be uncomfortable, leaving you with a tight, taunt feeling across your face. You don’t need to spend a fortune on products to get clear and supple skin though, here are four natural remedies you can use:

 

Honey

Not only does it smell lovely, it is really good for extremely dry skin. Simply rub a little onto your face, leave for about five minutes before rinsing off. If you do this every day you will notice a significant difference.

 

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is a modern day miracle substance. Not only is it good for cooking with, it is really good on dry skin. You can use it to remove make-up or to moisturise - just rub a little on your face with a cotton pad and wipe it off.

 

Yoghurt

Yoghurt contains zinc and lactic acid which are pretty great when applied to your skin. Not only will it hydrate, it will also help to get rid of dead skin cells, tighten your pores and smooth fine lines and wrinkles.

 

Extra virgin olive oil

Just like coconut oil, olive oil works as a make-up remover, hydrating and soothing dry, rough skin. You can even use it under your normal moisturiser if you are feeling extra dry. Although we don’t recommend you put your foundation over it.
