According to this acclaimed actress, she's wanted to become a mum since the age of 16 and if the latest reports to emerge from Hollywood are anything to go by, it looks like her dream is soon to become a reality!

Anne Hathaway and husband Adam Shulman, who tied the knot in 2012, are set to begin a family together and are currently in the final stages of the adoption process.

Speaking to the U.S edition of OK! magazine, a source close to the couple opened up about their exciting news, saying: "Anne is so happy and so nervous. She can't quite believe it's so close to becoming reality."

Having experienced fertility issues in the past, Anne's dreams of becoming a mum were delayed, with the star having attended a host of fertility doctors in an effort to speed up the process, but as of yet the the Les Misérables star has yet to become pregnant.
 


Commenting on her desire to start a family, the stunning brunette revealed: "I've wanted to become a mom since I was 16. But I also wanted to have a career, so I have been chomping at the bit to be a mother for a really long time."

The couple are said to be incredibly excited, with the insider going on to reveal: "It's truly a blessing, and she and Adam can't stop talking about it!"
