Earlier today, we reported that model and Victoria’s Secret ‘Angel’ Candice Swanepoel is expecting her first child, and now we can reveal that another star has become a parent for the first time.
Congratulations are in order for popular ‘90s actor Andrew Keegan, who has welcomed his first child with girlfriend Arista Ilona.
Andrew – best known for his roles in 7th Heaven and 10 Things I Hate About You – told E!News that Ilona gave birth to a daughter, Aiya Rose, on March 15. The tot weighed in at 8lbs 3oz.
In a statement, the 37-year-old said: “My beloved partner and I are overjoyed to welcome a healthy baby girl into the world. Our hearts are full of love, and we are thrilled to embrace our role as her parents.”
New mum Arista went on to explain the very special meaning behind their daughter’s name, adding: “It reflects the beautiful experience we’ve had bringing her into the world. In Turkish, Aiya means ‘goddess of creativity’ and, in Japanese, ‘miracle’. Her middle name was given to honour the place where Andrew and I met – at the Full Circle Rose Temple.”
