Earlier today we reported that former Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel is expecting her first baby, and now we’ve more baby news to celebrate!

Former Doctor Who actor David Tennant has revealed that and his wife, Georgia Moffett, have become parents for the fourth time, welcoming a little girl recently.

The 44-year-old made the announcement while he was co-hosting Absolute Radio’s The Christian O’Connell Breakfast Show this week.

When asked about his growing family, the Broadchurch star replied by saying: “I know. Number four has arrived, yeah.”

To which his fellow host responded by saying: “Wow! What is it, like, The Waltons round there at the Tennant household?”,

Taking it on the chin, the actor jokingly said: “I know. It’s getting a bit… it’s a bit of a brood!”

The couple are already parents to four-year-old Olive and Wilfred, who is two. David also adopted his wife’s 13-year-old son, Tyler, in 2011, excitedly stating at the time that he had become a father twice in six months.

Talking to Absolute Radio in 2012, the star said: “My baby is almost a year old and I adopted my wife’s boy last year as well so I became a father twice in six months – that’s got to be something of a record hasn’t it?”
