Congratulations are in order for Hollyoaks actor Ayden Callaghan, who has become a dad for the very first time.
The star, who plays Joe Roscoe on the popular soap, welcomed a son with fiancée Sarah Jane Honeywell on Tuesday, August 25.
It was new mum Sarah Jane who announced the news on Twitter, writing: “Finally back in the land of the living after giving birth to mine and Ayden’s baby boy at 20.31 yesterday – he is perfect.”
Proud dad Ayden went on to describe their son as “awesome” and thanked social media followers for their well wishes.
Ayden and Sarah Jane announced their wonderful baby news back in May, during a visit to The Baby Show in Birmingham.
The actor posted a photo of himself cradling Sarah Jane’s blossoming baby bump to Twitter, writing: “Amazing day at The Baby Show. So happy to say Sarah Jane and I are expecting a little boy. Very excited and happy.”
