Major congratulations are in order for actor Matthew Settle, as it has been revealed that he and his girlfriend, Maria Alfonsin, are expecting their first child together.
It was Matthew’s former Gossip Girl co-star, Kelly Rutherford, who accidentally shared the news this week while listing the names of those celebrities attending her upcoming charity event.
Kelly, who played Matthew’s love interest for a time on the popular show, told the media: “Marcia Cross, Ed Westwick, Vivica Fox, Selma Blair, and Lisa Rinna are all hosting. And Marianne Williamson and Lisa Bloom are speaking. I’m hoping Matthew can make it. He’s getting ready to have a baby, so I don’t know.”
This will be the first child for the couple, while Matthew is already dad to six-year-old daughter Aven from his first marriage, to model Naama Nativ.
Neither Matthew nor his representative have commented on the news as of yet.
