As Billie Faiers' daughter Nelly turns one today, proud aunt and former TOWIE star Sam took to her social media channels to post a touching tribute to the adorable tot.
Sharing a photo of herself in the shower with little Nelly, the reality star wrote: “Me and my little lady, my best friend, we have so much fun and we love you more than anything in the world. 1 today. The time has gone so quick.”
While many of Sam’s followers praised her for posting the sweet image, a number of people took to the photo-blogging site to question her choice of photo.
Among the negative comments that Sam received was one which read: “It is a little strange being naked with ur [sic] niece. I personally wouldn’t do it.”
And while a fellow follower branded it ‘weird’, another user wrote: “I find it odd too! That is a mother and daughter type pic.”
Sam’s fans were quick to jump to her defence however, with one writing: “Anyone who finds this picture is not appropriate then you should keep off Sam’s Instagram. This picture is harmless.”
Billie welcomed little Nelly, her first child, with fiancé Greg Shepherd.
