The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have shared a beautiful family photo of the four of them on Twitter.
Kate and William look relaxed and happy and their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, are beaming for the cameras.
The photo, which was shot in October, was taken by photographer Chris Jelf and posted on the official Palace Twitter account, with the caption: "Merry Christmas from The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte."

Admitting that he "thoroughly enjoyed" taking the snaps, Jelf said in a statement: "I thoroughly enjoyed photographing a very lovely family, although you have to be sharp as you don't have long when there are two young children involved! I hope everyone enjoys this photo and I am honoured that The Duke and Duchess have decided to share it with the public."
The tweet comes moments after Kensington announced little George will be attending the Westacre Montessori School Nursery in Norfolk before the end of January. Here he will “get the same special experience as all [the] children”.
