When you are pregnant you are bound to come across a certain person who will either insult, annoy or simply make you cry.

Here are seven people you are sure to meet:

The big mouth
Seriously - you let one person that you are pregnant and tell them to keep it quiet, but that doesn’t stop them telling the whole world. There is nothing worse than someone telling your secret to others.

Those who tell you what you should and shouldn't be eating
There will always be someone who either tuts at you for eating fish or another who tries to tell you that one sip of champagne is ok. No matter how many times you tell them that no, you’re fine they just don’t seem to get. Never be pressurised by others.

The bump touchers
You are bound to meet someone along your pregnancy journey who insists on touching your bump no matter how much you may flinch at it. Seriously, can nobody take a hint?

The one who robs your name
Tell the whole world what you plan on calling your baby and prepare for it to be robbed, especially if it is a pretty cool and unusual one. However, if someone does take your name first but you hadn't actually told them that it was your first choice, take it as a compliment and keep on thinking.

The negative one
This is the one who tells you how hard their labour was, how little time you will have to yourself or how hard having more than one child is. Take it on the chin and don’t let them bring you down to their level.

The guesser
As soon as you tell people that you are pregnant you will no doubt become the fascination of everyone as they try to guess the gender of your baby. Just go with it, you might even get it right.

The one who comments on your size
Being pregnant is enough to put any self conscious expectant mother into paranoia zone, and someone telling you that you look like you are expecting twins can set you off right there and then. This usually comes from men - women are more sympathetic, usually.

The best way to deal with them is to ignore them, enjoy your pregnancy - you will no doubt meet more annoying people along your journey as a mother.
