Given how her mum and older brother are style trend-setters, we suspected that it wouldn’t take long for Princess Charlotte to make her mark on the fashion world. And it seems that at just over a month old, the Royal tot is already a major style influencer!

Anyone who has seen the very first photos of the Princess will recognise the beautiful bonnet she wore, which was gifted to her by Spanish nanny Maria Teresa Borrallo.

Since word spread of where the bonnet was purchased – a tiny Spanish boutique named Irulea – mums and mums-to-be have been doing everything within their power to get their hands on the design.

Irulea’s owner, Ayago Villiar, told People magazine this week that business is now booming thanks to their new VIP customer.

“We’re overwhelmed. The store is full of people and they want any item related to Princess Charlotte,” said an excited Ayago.

With the Duchess of Cambridge also choosing the heritage Spanish brand for the Princess’ first photoshoot, the boutique has been flooded with requests.

“Right now I’m getting a lot of demand for the little polaina (the white wool trousers in the photos), as well as the little handmade shirt that she was wearing under her sweater,” Ayago adds.

If this is the effect that Princess Charlotte is having as a newborn, we can expect her to follow in her mum’s footsteps.
