After sparks flew while filming The Jump together, former X Factor contestant, Stacey Soloman, and Jackass star, Steve-O, embarked on a transatlantic romance which they happily documented via their social media channels, but it looks like things simply didn't work out for the once smitten couple.
According to reports, Stacey, a proud mum-of-two, found it increasingly difficult to deal with the constant periods of separation, with an insider explaining: "Stacey found it hard being away from Steve-O so they decided to put their relationship on hold."
It sounds like the television stars may have every intention of rekindling their relationship at some point in the future, but current circumstances suggest the pressure may be too much right now.
Further elaborating on the pair's decision, a source close to the former couple revealed: "He has a huge tour in the States, as that’s where his fanbase is. The relationship developed quickly and was a real whirlwind, but for the time being it’s not to be."
Rumours started to circulate recently when fans of the pair noticed that Stacey had begun to lament the nature of their relationship.
Taking to Twitter in May, Zachary and Leighton's mum wrote: "It gets harder every time! Hats off to all of you long distance couples making it happen!! See you on the other side @officiallysteveo I miss you already! Lots of love, Stacey."
Aw, maybe they'll be able to make it work at some point in the future!
