They might throw a tantrum that would leave you in tears and embarrass you until you wish the ground would simply open up, but there is just something about toddlers that we can’t help but absolutely adore.

And even if your little one has grown up or you are still in the baby stage, you can reminisce or look forward to the following ten things:

1. They come out with the funniest things

From calling items by a different name, struggling to pronounce words or making up their own explanations, toddlers definitely say the funniest things.

2. They are unpredictable

No two days are the same when you have a two- or three-year-old to run after. And while this can be both a good and bad thing (your schedule can go right out the window!) it certainly means that your days are unpredictable!

3. They make you do things you’d never have thought

From jumping in muddy puddles to pre-chewing food for them,  toddlers certainly make life, eh, interesting.

4. Their tiny hugs

Their arms are not yet long enough to wrap around you fully, but their tiny hugs are the best part of the day.

5. They try to help in their little way

Sometimes it’s more of a hindrance than help, but when they try to wipe down the kitchen table with a cloth bigger than their face or sweep the floor with a brush that is twice the size of them, you can’t help but chuckle.

6. Their adorable babble

As they learn to talk your little one will have this adorable distinctive babble that will make your heart melt. They’re also pretty good at making up words that you’ll surprisingly understand!

7. Their fearlessness

The have a fearlessness that you envy, but would also put the fear of God into you. As they jump from couch to couch your heart does a bit of flip every single time.

8. Their stubbornness

While we admit their stubbornness can be a right pain when we’re trying to feed them something healthy, we can’t help but admire their determination - most of the time!

9. Their big kisses

They might be small but they certainly know how to give a kiss; a great, big sloppy kiss!

10. Their ability to make us laugh

Not a day goes by when our little toddlers don’t make us laugh. No matter how down we might be feeling they have the ability to cheer us up big time.
